Having filed a debt relief order a few years ago when my business folded, I made a decision to plough money into bricks and mortar - my own home, and to put some money away in a sipp commercial property too. My husband and I bought a small home soon after the business collapsed. We love everything about it. It has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It is the perfect size for us and our two dogs and two cats. The only downside to the property is that there is no garage. We would love to add a garage to this already beautiful home. There is plenty of room and we could build it in the same style of the house to make it blend in. We have two cars so it would probably be a two car garage with some extra space for storage. We might also look into adding an attic space above the garage for even more storage or possibly even a bonus room attached through the house. We are currently saving up to build and hopefully we can have our new garage before winter comes. Leaving the cars out in the snow isn't very fun! |

The worst thing is when it is sunny and beautiful outside and you are stuck inside a hot office with the neon lights shining in your face. This was my summer roughly four years ago when I was temping in an office complex when I graduated high school. The worst thing was the chairs were very uncomfortable and the lights hurt the eyes of all the workers. I did work with some great people but there was some politics, as could be expected in many office environments. The managers there could have used the skills of some performance consultants to help them motivate us more. The temp workers who were hired on developed an attitude and treated the newer workers poorly. As a result the new workers were given all the grunt work which consisted of making coffee, cleaning up, and staying late. I was prepared to work hard but I didn’t like being treated in such a demeaning manner. If I were to return to office work I would suggest that the company hires strong yet kind management since they will encourage the workers at a higher rate. |

Over the years, we have been using very expensive energy sources in our country. The energy itself was harmful to the environment too. A few years ago, researchers engaged in various energy sources which could be less harmful to the environment and less costly, and a few energy sources were named, one of them being the solar energy that is being used in some parts of our country today. Our government is intending on introducing usage of solar energy in the whole country because it is cheap and it cannot harm our environment at all. It is quite costly to introduce this energy in the whole country, considering the high cost of living today, therefore the government is issuing out grants to help the poor, low income earners, the unemployed, the disabled and the students in installing this energy. With the grants solar panels will be affordable to the groups I have mentioned and therefore they will start using the energy immediately. These are the kind of developments we want in our country if we want to have a safe environment for the future generation. |

Sustainable energy from the word itself tells you that it sustains or lasts. It means that it is the energy which will be able to meet all our needs including that of our future generations. It includes all the energy sources that are renewable like solar energy, wind energy, thermal power, biomass such as wood pellet fuel, tidal power, etc. The main advantage it has is that it can be renewed. It is freely available. It is also less expensive. But non- renewable resources which are mainly used today are expensive and also getting depleted as the usage is at a faster rate than its formation. It takes millions of years to get these fossil fuels formed. Nowadays solar water heaters, rice cookers, etc. are available which helps us to make use of solar energy. Electricity is being generated using wind or water energy. We can switch to renewable sources so that even our next generation will have resources available for them. Let us live and let our future generations live in this wonderful planet |

I'm one of those weird people that loves every excuse to get other people a gift. I've even bought my colleagues promotional usb drives for these recently past Christmas! I know, most people think it's hard, but I actually have fun doing it. The first thing I do, is I keep it simple. A couple weeks before I'll listen to some of their wants to see if I catch anything specific. For example, if my mom mentions a thing she's been wanting to get for her house or herself. If that's not an option, I try to find stuff that almost anyone could use that can also be fun. Plus, you can give someone treats as a gift. For example, my boyfriends mom has everything she needs, and more. So, it's really hard to imagine giving her anything she doesn't already have. On top of that, she is a little particular. So what's a gift giver to do? Give her something she may eventually use up. If she likes incense or candles, go all out and get her a set just make sure it's not a smell she'll hate. A pot of flowers also never hurt anybody. Most people like to have plants around, they just never got to making a collection of them. If I'm still frantic, I go the food route. I'll either buy a cute gift basket from online, or make my own. I'll pick out whatever treats they could possibly like, and I'll get the fancy ones, not regular old off brand stuff! This is supposed to be a treat here! For a last minute gift, I'll do flowers and a card with a heartfelt message. I love getting flowers, and I can't imagine anyone who doesn't like that. In the end, I keep a system, and it works. As long as I pick something that is heartfelt, I'll have a lot of fun, and I know they'll be happy. |

As someone trying to get a small side business off the ground, I have been largely dismayed with internet marketing. The information highway is practically a parking lot there’s just too much traffic. So I recently began researching my options for what is now called a “Grass Roots Campaign.” In other words, I wanted to learn how to utilize traditional marketing tactics. As I settled into research mode, a whole new (or should I say recycled?) world of opportunities opened up to me. Physical business cards, roadside advertising, newsletters, cold-calling, print flyers, brochures, public speaking, bazaar booths, radio and TV ads, newspaper classifieds, community calendars, door-to-door sales, and more forgotten relics of traditional marketing spread before me and drastically changed my tiny start-up’s chances of surviving in a flooded market. Although I’ve only put a few of these methods to the test, so far, they have garnered much better results than my internet marketing campaign has in half the time. |

To be successful in life, you must have a work plan that you follow from the start to the end. This plan will help you accomplish everything and emerge as a winner in your own game. The reason why many people get charged extra fees on some things is because they do not know of way to keep off from paying this extra fees. That is why it is important to know about that particular thing well in advance so that you can avoid those extra fees. This is something that I have heard about PayPal and the paypal fee that people get charged. The people who find themselves paying these extra fees are those who are completely new to PayPal. They do not know that having a personal account will not make them get charged a lot. Personal account are rarely charged because what one does is just make payments, but when one gets an account that is upgraded, then they should be rest assured that they are going to make serious payments in fees. This is because anything that is upgraded requires special treatment and consideration and that will require extra fees. There are the people who pay these fees without feeling the pinch because they are business person but for someone who is on the site to pay some transactions, the fee is highly noticeable. |

Thirdly, by negotiating properly for deals. You will be suprised how much you would have saved when you bougth that 100 packs of beer if only you've taken time to negotiate a discount on. Most grocery stores (both online and offline) are ready to offer you good discounts on most of your bulk purchases. Fourthly, by stopping the 'living with the jones' competition you have been having with our next door neighbour. |

A regular office schedule is the nine to five routine. A typical day in the office consists of an eight hour job and an hour’s worth of break. However, for a certain number of people, the nine to five routine is like a stretch of a decade’s worth of their life. Having been on some prince2 training courses, I've learnt you can be more efficient by making the most of these eight hours. Surviving the eight hours seems easy for some, but for someone who has bitten a bit more than they can chew, it is the longest hours created in a day. There are a lot of things that can happen in a day at the office. The worker only needs to keep three simple things in mind to make the eight hours smooth and manageable. First on the list, do not procrastinate. Do the things you can do now, not later, because there will be so much more waiting for you later. Second, learn how to say no. More often than not, we are doing a lot of the things that are not even assigned to us just because we don’t know how to say “No”. Last, learn to fight your battles another day. This is very different from procrastinating, because these are things that are not workable immediately or things that needs another person’s authority to finish. If we can all do this three basic tips, I believe that surviving the eight hours in the office will be just a breeze. |

Recently, I met a girl who has problems on her legs. She’s on a wheelchair for she can hardly walk. Once, I was able to talk her. I learned that she’s still studying but she finds it difficult to pay for her school expenses. When I learned about this, I immediately thought of asking her to apply for grants for disabled students. I am certain that she will be qualified for this entitlement. She seems a really nice girl and I cay that she has brains, as well. I will start making a research on this matter. I will look for a competent benefits center nearest our location and will try to ask for the required documents that this girl has to submit. I know that she’ll be happy to find out that the state has programs for individuals like her. She might meet people with the same physical condition, and this will make her feel more positive about life. I will make her aware of its details the moment I gathered valuable and substantial information about this government program. |

Not all people will agree on idea of outsourcing. But before judging they should try out and see if it’s worthy or if it’s not necessary at all. Companies which are outsourced get to expand businesses and new skills are developed from different people.
