My husband and I love the NYC bar and lounge called 3 of Cups. It's located in the heart of Manhattan and is a great place to catch up with friends. They have several couches which are super comfortable, and also a great DJ who spins all types of music - the beer coasters list the up-coming music nights. Though if you prefer a certain genre they do offer themed nights such as "Metal Monday". While it can be kind of hard to find, since it's located in a basement area, once you find it you'll find yourself unable to leave until last call. The crowd is unpretentious, gracious, and very open. There are beer specials, specifically $2 for PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon) which most of the regulars opt to partake in. The lights are always low and time seems to fly when you're there. If you didn't come with friends, you'll leave with some - and a great (albeit fuzzy with PBR on sale) memory of the night. |

Mina used to work as an office clerk in one of the bigger companies in the city. Just very recently though, she tendered her resignation. She decided that it was time for her to stop working for other people and start to work for herself. And so with the little savings that she has, Mina thought of putting up Derby catering services. With the help and support of her family, Mina managed to hire some people to help her in the operations. Although she started really small, Mina started to notice that her business is growing day by day. After only a year, she has already established herself as one of the more competent caterers around. By word of mouth, her client base started to grow in number. Mina hopes to branch out to other cities when the time comes. When asked if she did not regret resigning from her job, Mina has this to say, I am very happy where I am now. I have been blessed and I have no reason to regret anything. |

Vanessa is very excited these days. She is counting the days till her mom comes home. Her mom happens to be a caterer in Leicester. Vanessa should have been in Leicester by now, but she chose to stay with her dad. Her parents got divorced many years back. Vanessa stayed with her dad because her dad is sick and she could not afford to leave knowing that nobody will take care of him. Her mom felt bad but she understood and respected Vanessa's decisions. Just recently her mom called to inform her that she was coming home for a short vacation. It has been six years since she last saw her mom. So many things already happened but there is still one thing that she hopes to happen - for her mom to be able to forgive her dad. Once, she asked her mom, Mom, will you ever forgive daddy one day? Is there no chance for you to get back together? Her mom would only smile. But Vanessa hopes that when her mom sees her dad in person, she would learn to forgive and forget. |

Meat that has not cooked well is not supposed to be eaten by anyone because it has some serious ramifications health wise. Many people are lovers of meat especially pork. Whenever people want to get together in derby, they opt for the hog roast. There are people who have made grave mistakes when preparing the hogs. They used normal barbecue equipment to make the hog roast and this result in to meat that has not properly cooked. In fact, the meat is totally raw and is not edible at all and they end up throwing it away. For those people who live in derby they should rent the equipments for preparing the hogs. This hog roasts in Derby equipment are the best in preparing the hog roast because it cooks the hogs from inside going outside and that is how it is supposed to be. People who love hog roasts should not complain that the equipments for cooking the roast is expensive. They should think of the loss that they would incur if they do not cook the hog well. |
