Grow Food

Yan is my garden with dark rich soil.  Out of the soil more yan plants bright, active growth, expanding green leaves, in the "hot" sun and growing stronger.  Yin is the harvest.  I am cold, passive, downward, contracting, and weak and want to eat these organic, fresh and easy edibles.

Today I feel better and I am healthier.  I grow my own food!  I worked the soil and continue to bury compost in the garden.  I planted the seeds.  I watered the plants.  I pruned the plants.  I harvested.  I am in the cycle of the seasons in nature.  I am one with nature, the earth and my body.  Yin and Yan is me and my garden.

I have 2 stages of tomatoes from seeds.  Small shrubs and seedlings.  Both are very healthy and grow rapidly.  The cold destroyed my basil.  I have new basil growing rapidly.  The cilantro and oregano are doing well!  These were all grown from seeds by the kitchen sink.  The Collard Greens, Cayenne Peppers and Bell Peppers were grown from seedlings last year.  When harvested Collard Greens regenerate new leaves in a few months.  I recommend that you compost, work the soil, plant seeds and grow your own food.  It is a great hobby, water every day and supply your kitchen with great produce.
